[Lucas has met plenty of animals who think just the same as humans, but he's just as familiar with minds that work like this. This one belongs to an animal, for sure! ...Something's a bit different about it, though. For some reason, his thoughts drift back to the Dragon.

There's warmth and happiness bubbling behind the thought when he "speaks"; Lucas likes people, sure, but animals will always have a special place in his heart.]
