He ran his free hand through his hair, nose twitching ever so slightly.
"...and luckily enough, this particular place also does a good lager, from the smell of it. I can almost smell how cold it is."
Was his mouth watering? Just a little bit.

The gal knew where her passion was when it came for food, and he mentioned quite a few of them. Lots of meat? Check. Spicy? Check. Sweet coupled with heat? Trrrriple check and call her sold!

Jon knew what he wanted pretty quickly from the menu, but he'd wait to order until she'd decided. There were a lot of familiar sounding dishes to him, though, he figured he might need to do some explaining to her.
"I'll take a pint. Lager. As cold as you can get it, mate." he added to the waiter, who replied "And the lady?" looking at Riwane.

"Right, you want to pay attention to the little red dots next to the name of the dish." Jon replied, turning his own menu to point them out to her. "One dot through five, five being the spiciest, one being very mild. The spicier you like something, the more dots you'll be wanting. The other thing to pay attention to is the type of meat. So, for example, this beef vindaloo sits at a four on the spiciness and it's made of cow. Not quite my cup of tea."
He folded the page over. "I like mine on the milder side, so, I'll take this one. A lamb korma - it's a sweeter, less spicy curry and I love lamb."
He looked over the menu again. "They also have the option of rice and either chips or naan bread. Of course, they call them fries here. Blasphemy."
