What: Continuation of this Meme thread.
Where: Halls, and then to town.
When: After classes on Wednesday.

The lights of the town became clearer as the sun set in the west and Jon hadn't said anything in a long while. This school was an entirely new experience and had given him so many new things to think about already. But this trainer revelation was something altogether foreign and strange to him. Obviously it was deeply ingrained into her culture, though. That alone was worrisome.
If he was completely honest, he almost preferred how things were back home. If you were a Monster you were run from or attacked. It made things so much simpler - you knew exactly where you stood. If his wolven self came loping into view of a farmer, he was going to be shot at. No question. He could hide in plain sight as a Human with no added appendages or features to suggest that he wasn't, barring perhaps his very prematurely grey hair. He didn't have the handicap of having a fireball at the end of any of his bodily appendages.
But he knew just where he was on the social hierarchy of things back home. At the very bottom where people either didn't beleive he existed, or wanted to snuff him out for existing.
There was no option for slavery or planned cage matches. Did Pokemon fight to the death? How did the humans who made them fight rationalize the pain they went through? It seemed no matter which way you cut it, the human race was just cruel to Monsters. Of course, some Monsters deserved it and gave much, much worse than they got. But still.
He was glad he'd had the foresight to bring his bag with him. In there was a shirt and some shoes. Most restaurants after all had signs out front that read 'No Shirt, No Shoes, No Service.'. He'd have to put them on before they decided on a place to dine.
