Riwane had been equally quiet the entire way, and since they were off school grounds, she never let go of his arm, finding comfort in the fact that he'd allowed her to simply relax her body against his

Jon pulled the straps on his boots tight, getting back to his feet and dusting off his hands.

"Alright, let's keep walking." he replied, breezing past her, hands in his pockets and newly shoed feet slapping the sidewalk.

There were plenty of places to eat, he could smell them. He could hear people inside diners, the clanking of silverware and china. Laughter. He'd never eaten at many restaurants before - he rarely had the money to and rarely wanted to spend the time it took to have a sit-down meal. But this evening was supposed to be sort of special. They had agreed and confirmed with one another plans for taking this tournament of hers and crushing it under their combined heels.

He kept walking, waiting for that increasingly familiar pressure and warmth on his arm.

And there he went, not even waiting. Had she been any other girl, it would have upset or irritated her, but she simply laughed and shook her head, taking quick skips to catch up and latch onto his arm once more, much like a gentleman should be escorting a lady as per her teachings in the farm.

"Smell anythin' good yet? Ah'm gonna trust yer nose this time since ya seem lahk an expert on these things~ An' also 'cuz Ah'm a bit indecisive when it comes ta eatin' with these many choices! If it were up ta me, Ah'd try it all!" she said amused as she looked from restaurant to restaurant, smiling as she saw the different aspects of each, her tail swaying happily from side to side!

And... there it was.

"I smell a lot of good things. Different scents. Lots of different meat dishes... lots of vegetables too. If they're in moderation, I've no problem with that. I can eat around them."

No fish n Chips around here, which was a shame. Those were cheap and filling.

One particular place caught his attention. It would have been a little ways down the street. He could scent not only meat, but the telltale hint of spiciness that meant a curry house was on the horizon.

"Here - you ever tried curry?"

"Meat's good!" she replied with a grin as they walked down the walkway, "Ah don' mind veggies none, jus' not a fan of em'."

She didn't mind the walk, the smells and sights where rather pleasant, and the company even more so.

At the mention of the dish she shook her head.

"Ah've heard of it, but nevah really had any mahself. S'it good?"
