You couldn't blame Seth. You know cats and curiosity, but like hell he was going to subject himself to any cursed springs just to find out what they did. Unknown to the redhead, sneaky Seth went ahead and secretly and slathered the entire rocky edge of this particular spring with slippery suntan lotion. From there all that he needed to do was tuck himself out of sight and wait for a hapless victim...

"Oh my god!" The blonde boy shrieked after he heard the splash, coming seemingly from out of nowhere. He paced around helplessly, not offering a hand and waited for Silver to pull himself out... or rather, herself out.

"You really should be careful around these slippery edges. Are you alright? Are you hurt?"

If Silver found out that the cat was behind this, there would be hell to pay. He might be nicer to his pokemon - but he wan't above being petty or cruel to 'wild' ones if provoked into it, or his mood was foul enough. ... Would Seth even be classed as a wild poggle?

"Stop staring offer me a hand." ... Oh god. Even his - her - voice, too? It was higher? This was not happening. Not happening at all. Really.

Please, tell him that it's a dream and he's still a he and not a she.

Please?

Luckily Seth was still spending his days pretending to be an odd looking human and nothing more. He flashed a grin and carefully offered a hand, making sure to secure his footing and keep as much of the spring water off his person as he pulled Silver out. "There."

And no, this was not a dream. Seth looked her new form up and down, gawking in amazement.

"You... you're a girl now! I never noticed a difference!"

There was a kid on some epic quest or whatever. A Littler Mac enters the scene. He appeared to be looking for something. Then he turns around and seemed dumbfounded.

"Silver, why are you a lady?"

WELL THIS KID SEEMED TO KNOW YOU THIS WAS WEIRD, HUH?

"... cursed spring." It was more a grumble than anything, and she lept poking at her chest dubiously, as if the poking would make it go away. Not that it did, but it was the theory, anyway.

"I ended up in one, Somehow." Twitch - then a double take and a raised eyebrow. "... You?"

"Me too! I fell in and became a lil' kid."

Mac made a pout face. "It's dumb but no worries! I'm on a hunt to find a cure! Guess that just means I gotta find another one. One to turn into grown ups and one to turn ladies into boys!"

Cyrus hadn't met the different Silver yet. Although he knew that it was, somehow, not the same young man who had fought him in class and yet was effortlessly defeatable in a pokémon battle, he knew several things to be the same. Silver was still arrogant, still the offspring of the Rocket leader, and still coldhearted in a selfish way.

The old Silver, if they were indeed physically seperate people, had possessed a cruel streak, but he had never publically threatened to beat his pokémon. That much was apparent, that this was someone, somehow, new.

But when he saw the young woman with the striking resemblence to his old student, he had to wonder just how very different this Silver was.

"What are you staring at, moron?"

As far as Silver knew, you were just some dumb kid, and her mood's not the best, if that cold scowl on her face is any clue. It doesn't matter if you were not gawking - she's feeling rather self conscious and not all comfortable in her new body.

Oh golly yes. mini_misotheist July 27 2011, 09:40:59 UTC
"I am not staring," Cyrus remarked, "although I will thank you to not call me such things."

:3 I think that in the end, Cyrus would win, if only just. strngrpkmnwntd July 27 2011, 09:48:44 UTC
"Hmph. All children are morons." She shrugged though, arms crossed under her chest, a disdainful look shot at it. "But suit yourself."

Clearly, being female has done nothing for her attitude - if anything, it's made her more cranky, though that's the sudden gender shift more than anything.
