[Separate threads are preferred, but uh... small/big groups are welcome to attack too obviously.]

When one would make it to the top of the building, Dana was very much waiting for them. She flickered her tail idly, looking out to what she had controlled. Turning around to face her offenders, Dana just growled and hissed at them. This was not the pokemon form that had unleashed the roar, and she would not resort to that unless she truly needed it. Cocky in a sense, she knew that she could beat whoever it was in this form that she had taken on at the moment. Let the test of her strength vs. theirs begin!

"I WAS NOT...!" She snarled, getting up close to his face. She was asking for a hit, she really was. "I WAS OBSERVING WHAT... HAD BEEN DONE..." Realizing how close she was, she backed to the distance she was before, smacking her tail against the concrete. Normally, it would be a dumb thing to do, but the ground below was already slightly cracked, and the crack ended up growing.

"PINPOINTING... WHAT WAS BROKEN... HAD TO FIX TIME...!" Dana added, not really trying to keep a sentence structure up anymore. There was not enough time to talk. What was happening right now was more important than talking.

"That's fuckin' bullshit!" Vinnie snapped back, both louder and harsher than he anticipated. But rather than back off, he ran with it - being bold meant he was gonna say what was on his mind, and he was going to goddamn make her listen. "You're a fuckin' god! You didn't need to put up a show to get shit done."

It was hard not to notice the crack of concrete - because goddamn, if her tail was capable of that in human form, imagine her full power. But Vinnie hadn't survived as a lone Ivysaur, fighting an unwinnable battle by forgetting to keep track of terrain advantages.

Vinnie pointed the head of his oar towards Dana, accusingly. "This was a cry for help."

Of course, in the end, it really was, but Dana wasn't going to just outright admit that. Especially with the mentality that she was under right now. It slightly pained her to be fighting with him, deep down within her core.

"WRONG!!" She absolutely shrieked, hearing the metallic sound she usually produced when she roared at the end of it. The opposing pokemon was becoming angrier by the second. That tail cracked again against the ground, and she let out an angry hiss. "THIS IS THE BEST WAY TO FIX... THINGS SUCH AS THIS... INTERFERING WILL NOT BE TOLERATED...!!"

Her claws began to flicker slightly, beginning to light up. Her body slowly lowered, almost as if to strike at him at any moment.

"I'M GONNA HELP YOU WHETHER YOU WANT IT OR NOT!" And if that meant he had to beat some sense into her, then he was going to do it.

The angrier his opponents got, the sloppier they got too. With the slightest change in his grip, the oar in his hands suddenly whirred with a similar metallic sound - only this time, more robotic. In the blink of an eye, the flat head of the oar opened up to reveal a long barrel that wasted no time in hitting Dana in the face with a surprise attack in the form of laser beams.

Because even in slow motion, the speed of light was still pretty damn fast. The book on lasers he got for Christmas was pretty informative in that respect.

Even with her speed advantage, she wasn't expecting the oar to fucking shoot her. Right in the middle of moving right for him, she stopped as soon as it made contact with her. Instinctively, she backed the fuck up as fast as she could, until she felt the side of something metal behind her, hitting up against it. Her face burned, and it hurt. Oh... it hurt. She ended up letting out a pained sounding metallic squeal when hit, but it resided back into the normal growl that she had been residing in the back of her throat.

It absolutely hurt. Dana knew to start taking precautions with him, and by that? That meant no precaution at all for her. At the distance she was at, she hung her mouth open for a moment, taking in as much air as she could. Without any hesitation, she launched a yellow and green beam right toward him.

He knew it was going to be a breath attack the moment she started to inhale so deeply. Vinnie threw himself out of the way as quickly as he could to dodge the attack, ducking to the side in a messy roll. The stream of green energy still caught him across the side and the leg, but he stifled the pain into a muffled hiss.

The Venusaur wasted no time in firing off a barrage of laser beams in Dana's direction, though his aim wasn't as keen as before with his surprise attack. Making up with quantity - this was just suppressive fire as he bought time to get back on his feet.

The distance was actually a great thing to have right now. She snarled, kicking off from the object she was holding herself against to try to get out of the way of the fire. As she did kick off, her tail was positioned just high enough to get good enough damage for her to make an audible noise from it.

As she slid to a stop, she quickly turned her direction right for him. Dana meant to say something, she really did, but all that could escape her lips was that throaty metallic roar that she had been well endowed with being able to sound off. Jumping into the air, she aimed herself for him, claws poised and ready to strike when she was close enough to make contact.

If there was one thing he learned from his spar with Max, it was that being airborne had its own considerable weaknesses. For one thing, unless you could fly or had some sort of momentum thrust, then it was pretty damn hard to change trajectory.

He knew that Sludge Bombs wouldn't be able to hurt her in any way, unlike its usual corrosive effect on squishier, non-Steel opponents, but it would damn well piss her off. Vinnie spat out a series of small, purple pellets, as easily as he would've watermelon seeds. Aimed for Dana's face, each one would explode on contact into a shockingly wide burst of noxious vomit.

Let's see if she could still hit him with a few sheets of thick, sticky, gooey poison sludge slathered over her.

...Gross. Oh man, she was pretty pissed off, that goes without a doubt. Screeching as soon as the attack met her face, she stopped her attack and began to claw at her face. Forgetting that she was still airborne, she fell and rolled right past the Venusaur.

What else could she do while she was busy with the sludge that was nicely all over her face? Randomly fire off a couple more Dragon Breath strikes, of course. Dana knew that she was especially vulnerable for an attack, and had to keep her defenses situated. Especially now that she was on the ground of all places.

Good thing her aim was completely off now - avoiding the frenzied streams of her Dragon Breath was easy enough. That let Vinnie put some more space between them, take a split second to breathe. A bit of the nausea was coming back, something he forced himself to choke down. If Dana's eyes weren't obscured by both rage and sludge, she would've been able to notice that Vinnie was breathing a bit heavier than he should, he was paler and starting to sweat.

If this came down to close combat, he was screwed. For now, he fired off a few more aimed laser blasts, charged up for greater hurt.

Being hit with those charged shots proved to be too much for her. He ended up hitting her square in her side and it really proved to be painful to her. She had enough of the sludge out of her eyes to see only a partial bit of her surroundings, but it proved to be enough for her to get the hell up and run.

She trusted her judgment, even if it proved to be... well... not even the best thing to be trusting right now. Did she see the barrier concrete that came up to her knees? No, she didn't. Did she realize that the thing on the other side of this barrier was... nothing? Oh yeah, she did. Before she ended up falling all the way down, Dana grabbed the edge of the concrete, digging her claws into it. She was stuck as is, trying to get herself steady to climb back up. To be honest? It looked as if she was fighting to stay on the edge by how frantic she was to stay on there.

She had metal claws, sharp enough to pierce concrete. And she had Dragon breath still. There was no way that Vinnie could let his guard down, even with Dana in such a state.

He just sat back, waiting. There was no doubt that even if he destroyed her grip, she had the strength to haul herself back on the roof. The fall wouldn't be enough to incapacitate her if she couldn't manage it. And Vinnie wanted to keep her where he could see her.

"So, did you see this coming?" There was the sound of whirring as the oar reverted back into its default form, conserving energy.

When she finally did get her grip, she scurried up as quickly as she could. That was way too close for comfort, even for her. Relying on her senses, she looked out toward his voice and the oar.

She snarled at him. Was he actually saying that? If she wasn't angry enough, the fact that he was still egging her on as he did absolutely angered her. She was close to just turning back to her pokemon form and taking him out, but something forbade her from doing so. Dana was slightly backing off from trying to attack him for the moment. She knew that whatever she would try he'd meet her with that oar. Especially with her vision still blurred, she had to be wary as ever.

Of course, she knew she had to at least keep moving, and began to circle him, that disgusting growl bubbling up her throat.

Vinnie kept his eyes trained on Dana the entire time, searching for the slightest hint of an attack from her. He hadn't really considered why Dana had deigned to transform and just stomp him flat, but it was really the largest concern on his mind.

He wasn't done egging, either. "You think your Mom's gonna stand for this shit you're pulling? For someone worried 'bout the Godlady, you're being pretty fuckin' dumb."

The Venusaur's grip tightened around his oar, ready to activate the lightsaw.

The girl twitched her claws slightly, painfully twitching her tail.

She snorted. Nothing was in the way of stopping her, she wasn't going to take anything from anyone, especially her mother. Another twitch of her claws.

"NO ONE...CAN STOP ME...!" she snarled, finally finding her voice again.

Another airy hiss escaped her mouth, showing off her glistening fangs. She was actually trying to plan out something, but she had a good figure of one sure motive. Attack.

She had to do it. Even knowing what she would have been met with, she flexed her claws, readying herself for another Metal Claw.
