Something wasn't right. Ness wasn't quite sure what it was, but he could definitely feel it. What was it this time? In a way it felt oddly familiar. It was going to take a bit of exploring to find the source of unease, so out and about he went... though not without a bat this time.

It took a little longer than he thought it would. Or maybe he was right on time and it was just... time. What. The birds were... what.

If he had any idea there were time masters around, the culprit might have been easier to pinpoint but... For now he was just going to gawk at those birds near the front office.

Uxie could not have missed this. No matter how far he was, the Roar hit him like a sonic boom, shook his very core. Awakened an instinct, a compulsion, an order programmed into him from the moment of his hatching.

This was what he was created to do. Dialga must be controlled.

Without a moment's hesitation, he sped towards the creature waiting on the rooftop.

Mesprit awoke in the tank in her dorm in confusion. With a quick glance, she noticed Dana was missing, and since hers was the voice Mesprit recognized in the roar, she immediately flew out her window and toward the sound of the disruption. What if Dana was in trouble! Oh no!!

On her way, she sensed and sought out her brother.

"UXIE!! What's going on with DANA??"

[Within the blast's range sense of time has been lost. Dawg is great at seeing typos. It may take a little bit more time than needed to actually get up.]

As soon as Goose flew into the primal void, he could feel time around him ticking at a very strange pace. Things seemed to take... longer than usual. His gyrocopter was going at a relatively fast speed according to his speedometer, but his surroundings and true speed told him otherwise. He was going at a sluggish pace at this very point in time.

Another minute later, he felt himself going faster, and then suddenly came to a very slow chug again. The shifting of speed was unnatural for his gyrocopter, and try as he might, speeding up was difficult. It was as if an outer force was tampering with his gyrocopter. His gyrocopter's stats as viewed by the control panel listed not a single issue internally.

It was all an external issue: the roar engulfing the area.

No. He had to get to the top. There was no way he was going to falter yet.

This was it, this was Roar of Time. Cyrus had read about it many times, in many different sources throughout history, but he had never seen it in person. It was incredible, that power that he would someday command, but he forced himself to stay focused. He had to stop that force or all would be lost.

To the top; Vs. Primal Dialga primaldelusion January 16 2011, 14:21:00 UTC
[Separate threads are preferred, but uh... small/big groups are welcome to attack too obviously.]

When one would make it to the top of the building, Dana was very much waiting for them. She flickered her tail idly, looking out to what she had controlled. Turning around to face her offenders, Dana just growled and hissed at them. This was not the pokemon form that had unleashed the roar, and she would not resort to that unless she truly needed it. Cocky in a sense, she knew that she could beat whoever it was in this form that she had taken on at the moment. Let the test of her strength vs. theirs begin!

It took Goose what felt like eons to reach the top, but he finally did. Dana may be able to feel the wind and the whirr from his gyrocopter's propellers as they spun at as fast of a speed as they could within the roar's might. Goose clicked on a communicator of sorts on his control panel and, with a small plucking sound, removed it and held it up to his mouth.

His voice wasn't of a requesting tone. It was of a demanding tone. He felt like he was fighting Meca Hawk all over again.

"STAND BACK ON YOUR FREAKING ATTACK OR YOU WILL REGRET IT."

The megaphone-like properties of this particular communicator made his voice much louder than it really was. Good. He thought it might get his point across.

Dana only had one warning. If she refused to adhere, he would attack mercilessly.

When the feral creature heard his demand, she couldn't help but began to... actually laugh. It was so foolish that he had to use such a weapon to try to match her strength.

She turned slowly, still laughing heavily at him. When her laughter died down, she sneered at him. "PLEASE... THE ATTACK... THAT I HAVE USED IS NOTHING!"

Plus... She was one who wanted a "fair fight" to happen. "IF YOU WISH... GRR... TO FIGHT ME, YOU DO IT MAN TO MAN. YOU PROVE HOW WEAK YOU ARE... IF YOU DEPEND ON... SUCH WEAPONS!!!" Dana hissed at him, ending with a loud, horrible roar.

Goose couldn't hold back the snarl that rose in his throat. Oh. Oh. This bitch is going down. She is going waaaaaay down.

She called him weak.

He wasn't about to let that slide so easily.

Goose was going to show her his power. Wordlessly, he was quick to fire one of his explosive missiles at her. He felt that words were far from necessary, as this sent the message he intended to give her anyway.

Suddenly, lake spirit betterthanawiki January 16 2011, 20:09:09 UTC
There was no need for Uxie to push his way through the areas where time had distorted. He, after all, could teleport. In moments, a single golden light appeared, lilting cry echoing.

Call for Mesprit, breathed his instincts, Azelf must be here. But he held back. He'd given his word that he would try to protect Mesprit. Surely she would also sense what was going on, and find her way to Dialga sooner or later, but he woudn't hasten that if it could be helped. Azelf... he couldn't call for Azelf, either. The fact that Azelf was far away was their one insurance against Cyrus; even in these desperate circumstances, Uxie was reluctant to allow the chance for Team Galactic to track the final lake spirit.

So he stood alone. One lake spirit couldn't fully control Dialga, and Uxie certainly wasn't one for fighting; though prepared to defend himself, he lacked the strength of Mesprit or Azelf. Even so... he could try. So he hovered before Dana, exerting the limits of his control on her -- anything to make her waver, to slow her down.

Dialga ( ... )

She winced at the bright light, and heard the cry, knowing exactly who it was. "I TOLD YOU..." she hissed, unable to control the volume of her voice. "YOU STAY AWAY FROM ME..."

Her eyes thinned as she stepped back. Dana wanted to keep her distance between herself and the lake spirit. His influence to try to quell her anger was not enough, but it was enough to keep her from straight up attacking him.

Her tail lashed against the concrete, cracking it slightly. "IT IS... FUTILE TO TRY TO STOP ME... ESPECIALLY... LACKING THE OTHERS... YOU KNOW THIS!"

And you know that I will try anyway.

He reacted to her retreat by floating closer, orbiting in a circle around her. The least that he could do was buy time, allow other to prepare, organize, and push through the slowed areas before Dialga could do any lasting harm. At best, he could goad her into directing her attacks at him, put his endurance to use tiring her out.

He was not a fighter. He knew she would be able to resist whatever attacks he had. He could not bring her down alone, but he could do what little was within his reach.

Perhaps I cannot stop you, Dialga, but I can hold you in place. Even as you are now... do you really think you can strike me down?

"YOU CHALLENGE ME? I WILL... AND I WILL NOT HESITATE TO DESTROY YOU!"

Even by now, her face began to take on grim look. Despite having the advantage of her own ground, she was to make sure that her foe could not move as quickly as she could. Lowing herself slightly, she waited to see what he would do, presenting herself ready to strike back with those fierce claws.
