Mostly men. As in, maybe a few women. Somehow, EVA had ended up with an invitation for a date. So that Friday she left the library a half an hour early; there had to be plenty of time for her to do her hair, put on a dress, and make herself up. Not too formal, yet not too casual. Sorta.

She waited for her date, coupon in hand, on the first floor of the student dorms. Maybe she looked a little out-of-place, but she could honestly care less, and her bored expression showed that fairly clearly.

When the humanized charizard stepped out, she was unaware of who EVA was or why she was there, surprised to see the beautiful woman outside near her dorm.

"Hello?" she asked in a half question. Herself dressed in a simple fireproof outfit, she had a feeling whoever was going out with her tonight would probably pick the older woman out out between the both of them If she just stood there next to her, making Sasha look like some cheap dollar store knockoff. I mean look at her chest size... What was this feeling of envy, Sasha?

"Are you off to the teacher's dorm for a date?"

She could only hope.

EVA gave the Charizard a once-over before replying. Honestly, she had no idea what to expect. She didn't know who Sasha was, or what she was going to look like. Wings, horns, and fiery red hair. She had to be one of those Pokemon things... Or some kind of humanized animal.

"Hey," she replied to Sasha's awkward greeting. When the Fire-type spoke again, EVA showed her the coupon she had been given. "Not sure where I'm headed. I'm looking for Sasha," she said, propping a hand on her own hip and giving the other an expectant look.

WHAT. She didn't remember giving out coupons to this woman. Or maybe she had and she had just forgotten, which quite simply, made the situation worse. The Charizard briefly coughed before adjusting her outfit for a few seconds.

"O-oh I'm Sasha. I'm sorry for the confusion." She offered her an outstretched hand in greeting. If she was going to do this, she was going to do this politely. Even if her heart had sunk.

Well.

Whoever this girl was, she surely mustn't have known Goose if she was inviting him on a date. That was namely because he was very far from single. However, if he got an invitation for a date, he surely couldn't turn that down entirely. Sure, it wouldn't be something romantic, but he could at least hang out with the girl and apologize for not being available for her.

A straightforward solution, it seems, yet still so very awkward.

Goose approached Sasha's dorm and gave it a knock. The slip of paper was in his hand.

Far from it for Sasha to keep up with Kanto gym leader news apart from those that involved Red or Green. Or Blaine. But she only kept news about Blaine because...well it was pretty obvious who he had a biased towards. Why was he the only one not here anyway? It seemed hardly fair. In either case, Surge's marriage was not something she knew about no cared really.

The door opened and she was standing there in a red shirt and simple pants with a smile etched on her lips.

"Hello!" She quickly spied the piece of paper in his hand. "You're here for a date!" Her tone was jovial and she grinned wider.

Well, this was going to go... interestingly. Goose waved over to her. "Hey. I'm kinda here for one or somethin'." How to explain this? Hmm. Goose paused and thought for a moment before finally finding a way to word it.

"I got that invitation of yours and I kinda... ain't single. I can't say no to a hangout or somethin', though." That'd probably be kind of fun!

GODDAMMIT, what a stroke of rotten luck! Sasha inwardly breathed a few curses in her head while she politely nodded at him. Well, this guy really got right into the hearts of things with that disclaimer, huh?

"That's okay," she lied as to not offend him. "Hanging out could be interesting!" The Charizard held out her hand. "I'm Sasha. But you probably could tell that from the coupon."

So, he'd been given a coupon for a date. He was attatched already so he'd made it clear that this was just a Friendly Date as opposed to a Romantic Date. But that didn't prevent him from being a little nervous - Apart from going out once or twice with Roselia and the blind date of a few weeks ago, the only dating experience he had was with Goombella and once they had settled into a comfortable little groove of their own, he was pretty confident in the places he chose to take her.

This girl? He had no real clue about her except that she was pretty cute and was the same species as one of his Football bras.

He arrived at her dorm in his human form, dressed nicely enough. Knocking a couple of times and then straightening his collar he waited for the door to be answered by his companion for the evening. Of course, he had no idea that protective brothers might be involved. Or that she might have no idea who he was because she'd never seen his Human form.

The door finally opened a few minutes later, and Sasha craned her neck just enough to inspect who was there. Someone she didn't know!

"Hi!" Oh man this guy looked really nice. Dark skinned, Red hair, deep voice, not to shabby on the pounds and muscles either. Behind the door, her tail swerved back and forth. "I'm almost ready!" She closed the door loudly only to reappear a few minutes later wearing a red dress, glad the school had offered her a few outfits. She'd have to wash it, however, if she wanted to go on more dates. The school's winter coat was slung over it.

"I'm ready!"

"Great!" Knuckles replied with a grin, his mouth suddenly a little dry - man that was a nice dress.

"Well, I guess the first question I gotta ask is, what kinda stuff you wanna do? I told you I'd show you around the city but is there any kind of place you especially wanna go? Restaurant, Mall, Bowling, Monster truck rally?"

"I don't know much about the city except the Pokemon center," she admitted, closing the door to her room. "What's Bowling? And Monster Trucks...are they trucks that turn into monsters? Why would they be having a rally?"

Mac probably stiffed up frozen when he got that coupon. Holy crap. Holy crap. But he stood by it. Turning it down would be rude and maybe she just wanted to have a bit of fun? Didn't have to be romantic. Even though he had feelings for another. Which...he didn't know what was going to happen with that but OKAY. He wasn't worried about that now.

Sasha was a pretty cool person anyway. After being in the hospital, maybe she just wanted some innocent fun. Which Mac could understand. He would understand that just fine. Mac did feel bad for Sasha anyway. So he seriously told himself that even though this might not end up romantic, he could just try to be plain fun and show her a good time.

Mac was in his casual best. Casual best being a clean pair of slacks and a clean black tee. He was wearing his winter coat, too. Yeah, not known for his gentlemanly appearance. What is formal. No idea about protective brother either, hahaha. Knock knock.

Of course Mac had yet to tell Sasha he liked other people. In her eyes he was still available and nice, kindle, gentle boxer guys were pretty much diamonds in coal-filled world. Knowing that he was coming, and after her less romantic-filled date with Knuckles the day before, she had washed and dried the dress, ready to be worn anew in a girl's desperate hopes of conquest.

She stepped out of his apartment and he looked...pretty good! She had a feeling he wasn't the type to wear super-fancy clothing anyway, and grinned, waving him a quick hello.

"I'm ready!"

Technically, Mac WAS available. But, he had eyes on another. Sob.

Whoa. Two different kinds of formality here. Sasha looked like she was ready to a white table cloth kind of place. And Mac, well, he looked like he was going to a burger joint. He'd have to have had help anyway if he knew they were going formal, if he knew. Friendly friend date, he had to remember. Mac gave a smile anyway and waved back. "Hey there!" he said back. "Nice dress."

Technicalities were not good enough for Sasha Mac. THEY WERE NOT GOOD ENOUGH. It's okay, you were getting judged anyway.

Right. Just a friendly date.

"Thank you!" Point for being polite. "I like your outfit too." And she meant it.

Sasha wanted to see Jake about something. At least that's what this note she left him said. Well, that was fine by him. He was game for hanging out with friends.

He came to her door, not expecting anything out of the ordinary, and knocked.

Were all the guys here not single? Sasha was starting to think that. It was a bit disappointing to say the least, but each day brought her new hope that, perhaps, the day would be right.

She chose not to wear her red dress that night; it seemed to bring her bad luck. Instead she was back to a more casual outfit as she peeked outside and greeted the man standing there.

"Hello!"

Sorry Sasha, but if he were single...

"Hi, Sash!" he said. He pocketed the note and smiled. "You wanted to see me?"

He's want to date her? Right? Right?!

"Hi Jack!...or Jake um...I'm sorry I sort of forgot." Goodness, he seemed pretty happy about it. Point for being in a good mood. "You got a coupon right?"
