Zelda knew this was not her job (the school had handymen and groundskeepers after all), but there was only so long she could stand those words on campus. It made her sick, and the sooner the red was scrubbed away, the better she'd feel.

That was not to say, however, that it would be an improvement in her mood. But the red paint needed to go, and fast. So once all the students had been taken down, the rope cleared away, she returned to the statue with a bucket of soap and warm water.

She rolled up her sleeves and started scrubbing.

"I cannot permit this display of hatred to remain," Cyrus said, his calm facade wavering with an undercurrent of rage. "...That is what has ruined this world. Violence, so fueled by that..."

Misty was a late bloomer this morning. Once she noticed the Gyarados doing its job on the statue, she was immediately confused. The red words... All she could read was "GET OUT" and "KS". Gyarados seemed to wash out the rest.

Other than that, the statue had red splatter. What in the world was this?

"W-What happened?! Do you need any more help?" Misty had her hands on one of her Pokeballs already.

"If you'd like to help, I certainly won't stop you." Zelda said, resuming her scrubbing. "There was a bit of an incident this morning."

"Incident? What... kind of incident?" Misty was already in worry mode, but regardless, she moved forward to help. She tossed a Poke Ball forward, and once it busted open, a Milotic sprung from its hold with a croon.

"Milotic, Hydro Pump!"

Shots of strong water jets bursted from Milotic's maw, splashing into the statue. The water was relentless on the crimson mess, beginning to wash some more of it down.

By this point, Cyrus was walking away, muttering to himself. He had banished his emotions again, hadn't he? But this stirred something in him that he couldn't ignore.

He would have to banish them again if he was to remain calm, if he was to not lose himself to his swelling hatred.

Zelda took it upon herself to fill Misty in, only to find that Cyrus had left before she could reiterate her thank you.

"There was...someone vandalized the statue."

"Oh..." Wow, and it looked like they did quite a number on it. There was still something Misty didn't quite get, though.

"Are those ropes?" She pointed to the remnants of the ropes hanging from the statue. "Where did those come from?"

Zelda didn't particularly want to give Misty the gritty details of what had happened this morning, but at the same time, she knew it wouldn't be right to withhold information.

"Someone...whoever did this...tied a few students to the statue."

Misty was appalled. She was downright floored, even if she didn't get the full details. With concern in her head, though, she pressed on for more. Unfortunately, Zelda may have to give her a little more description than that in the sense of the students' conditions.

"W-WHAT?! I mean- are they okay?!"

"They're in the infirmary and doing fine." She said, sighing heavily. Zelda hadn't wanted to get anyone else worked into a tizzy. "Just a bit roughed up."

"Oh, that's good... but..." She shoved her face into her palm. "Ugh, who would do something like that?"

"I wish I knew." More than anything, Zelda wished she knew. "I suppose all we can do now is make sure something like this doesn't happen again."

"I guess so, but..." Misty sighed and didn't finish that sentence. She was only insistent on finding out who this bastard was, yet would there even be any leads?

She didn't know, so in the end, all that mattered was getting this statue clean. She called out for Milotic to wash more of the red away.

Peach had seen and watched over as the bodies were taken down. Like Zelda, this whole ordeal had disgusted Peach. Right down to the bone. And seeing her friends and dear classmates hung up like that and others in distress...it just made the feeling worse. Right down to her gut.

She had a grave look on her face as well as she walked next to Zelda. Any help she could give...any at all...would mean something.

"...Zelda...do you need more assistance?"

Peach's arrival elicited a warm smile from the princess, perhaps the most genuine one she'd given all day. It was weary, however, full of disappointment and sadness regarding the situation.

"If you'd like to help." She said, extending a sponge to her friend.
