It was promising to be a good day. It was unusually warm for the time of year, and the sun was out full-force because Erika's Pokemon were Sunny Day-ing that shit, slowly reducing the snow to sticky slush. The air was silent, save for the chiming of the clock tower and the distant cry of some far-off bird. It looked to be business as usual for Smash Academy. Just another day.
Except, of course, for one small thing. The base of a statue on campus had been vandalized in the night, bright red words standing out like blood.
The vandal in question had left behind more than words, however. Six bodies had been tied hastily to the statue's base, dangling like haphazard marionnettes. Someone was setting an example.
Someone was declaring war.
