Of course, Selene was one of the first to speak. She stood up herself, organizing the thoughts in her head before letting words come.

"There must be." Time for elaboration! "If the world is to survive under the hands of an unworthy god... no, perhaps that is not possible? If this world has gone on for so long, there must be some deity that is taking some form of better control, is there not? A higher being that leads all humans and creatures to some form of decency... to a fault, although the world is not quite perfect."

That's all she had for now. What else was there to say, she wondered? At least not until some more discussion roused up.

Selene paused for a moment, absorbing the information, and then spoke again. "I would hope imperfections are not caused by the god with purposeful ill-intention, if that is what you intended to mean." That would be more inexcusable.
