Gandrayda, as planned, had arrived that morning. Her orders had been simple; needed to get in and find out as much as she could, distract the high-ups if needed. Just going at night would have served no purpose. An alibi at school could easily be forged (she told Zelda she had to go away for the night to watch a movie ( ... )

On Snake's end, he was dreading this. He knew it would certainly be nice in the end for Miller to owe him a favor, but the whole idea of being a part of MSF, an organization that his father led back in Miller's time...

... Whatever. The point was, that Snake had made a practice of taking merc work on the side, and this should be no different. He hadn't signed a contract, he hadn't made any commitments. As it was, he kept Miller's radio frequency in one ear and Otacon's codec in the other. He would play along with Miller, but if it came down to it, Snake would definitely be doing it his way.

However, he was beginning to regret not looking over the members list. He knew everyone would be from the school, he just wasn't sure who. There were two other field operatives, and Snake, hoping that one of them would be Raiden, but just knowing that wouldn't be the case, felt a slight sense of dread. Miller wasn't expecting him to teach anyone anything along the way... was he ( ... )

Sheik was not far behind, choosing to let Snake lead, oblivious of her presence. He was the tactical stealth teacher, after all.

There was a lot she didn't like about this, not the least of which was stealing a highly unstable energy source and handing it over to a more-or-less anonymous employer. Far too much that could go wrong, and no way of knowing if they were delivering this important item from the wrong hands to the right ones.

Still, Sheik was not one to go back on her word, and she'd made a promise to Kaz that she would lend her talents to the MSF in exchange for the antidotes. Even if the poison disaster had turned out to be a hoax, it was the actions that counted, and therefore, she was going to see this mission through.

If Snake was wondering where the other field operatives were, he wouldn't have to wonder much longer. When she heard Miller's voice, Sheik dropped out of the tree to make herself known, then answered the transmission. "Approaching the facility."

Snake whipped around at Sheik dropping out of her tree, but upon seeing her, he relaxed. It was maybe a good sign that one of the other field operatives was someone that he didn't know so well. He nodded to Sheik, then addressed Miller.

"Well protected. We have someone in there, already?"
