"Helloooooooo!" Ponyta called out from a distance as she jogged towards the lot. Clad in her running attire, she waved enthusiastically at everyone while bearing her happy-go-lucky grin. "Sorry, I hope I didn't keep you all waiting long. I think I'm just on time, right?" She stopped before Giovanni and readjusted her shoulder bag as she slightly swayed left and right, eager to run.

"Oh, Hello there!" He rose as she approached, and grinned. "You must be Ms. Ponyta. I pleasure to meet you." He shook her hand, "and no, we were only waiting a few minutes because I have a tendency to arrive early to things. You are..." He pulled a silver pocket watch with floral designs engraved into its top out and opened it, "Yes, you are just on time." Notte flew down to his shoulder, distracted from chasing rodents by the shiny object, "This is Notte, and these are my other Pokemon: Nidoking, Nidoqueen, and Rhyhorn. Let's hope they have names soon, because that's a bit of a mouthful." He chuckled lightly.

Ponyta smiled kindly throughout all the introductions and she couldn't help but notice the watch he pulled out. It was just so pretty that she wanted to know more about it and get a better glimpse at it. But, first thing's first, she ought greet the others. Thus, she happily approached Giovanni's Pokemon with a welcoming smile.

"Hello! It's nice to meet you all! I'm Ponyta. Are you all from Kanto, too?" Her ears twitched and her fiery tail flickered as she waited eagerly for their reply.

"Yep, we are! I'm Nida, this is Nido and Rhy, and that's Notte!" The Nidoqueen said..in Pokemon-ese. To Giovanni, it just sounded like some roars.
He tilted his head. "I didn't remember saying I was from Kanto. Maybe it's my accent..." Which he thought odd, since he had a heavy Italian one, by his own reckoning. He stared at the watch for a moment longer, than closed it and placed it back in its pocket in his running jacket. "Well, shall we be off?" Notte hopped over to a branch beside her and stared at her.

"Ehhhh. That's nice." Ponyta smiled. "Where in Kanto did you guys all come from? I came from a daycare near Route 16 and 17." She turned to Giovanni after hearing what he said and scratched the back of her head. "Ah... haha, it was just a guess. I've seen some Nidoking, Nidoqueens, and Rhyhorns in Kanto before, so I figured that you all might be from there. I've never been to other areas and haven't seen Pokemon from different regions."

Oh, he put the watch away. Too bad. Ponyta didn't want to trouble him with bringing it out again, so she decided to wait until another time for him to draw it out of his own accord to ask him about it. Though... she sure was feeling mighty curious about the pretty watch.

"Um... yeah!" Ponyta smiled again as she began to shift her weight from foot to foot. "Ready when you are!" Suddenly, she remembered her shoulder bag on her and laughed a little out of embarrassment for having forgotten it. "Oh! Um, if you don't mind, I'd like to run in Pokemon form. "Er, we're all from Viridian mostly, except for Notte and Rhyhorn. Notte is from the mountains in Johto. I believe he might have been migrating when I found him. Rhyhorn is from the Safari Zone. Took a bit to catch him, but it was worth it."

For a moment, he blinked. Pokemon form... then it started to click as he actually noticed the ears and tail. How did I miss THAT? He nodded though. "Of course...though truth be told I believe you are the first one I've seen that can turn human, though I keep hearing of them... May I ask how exactly that happens?"

Ponyta laughed lightheartedly. "Sure you may! Well, when I first arrived, Bob helped me transformed with her magical powers. But, since I can't rely on her all the time, Knuckles lent me his transformation watch that allows me to transform back and forth at the press of a button! Cool, huh?" She paused a bit to think on it some more.

"Well, since it's been a couple of months now, I can just transform on my own at will. Though, if I get super shocked or something, I might accidentally transform back. I've heard that there's a HM available that allows Pokemon to transform, but I didn't want to forget any of my skills to learn it. So... yeah. I think that's about it. Did that make sense?"

"..." It made as much sense as it was going to at the moment. "I think so. That must be rather handy. I have no problem with it. It's probably easier to run in your natural form anyway." He stretched as he spoke, doing his best to keep the confusion from his face. What a curious morning this was turning into!
