Otacon was walking towards Mike's room, carrying a few books in archeology and world history he had meant to give Dr.Jone's nephew a long time ago. He also had no idea how to resolve ANY of his friendship woes, and the best he could do now was just think about something else. The scientist had locked his dorm room making sure Blacky couldn't get in, and carried all ten books rather awkwardly, walking in the corridors before nearly dropping then as he knocked on the boy's door.

"Mike? This is Otacon. Would you mind opening me the door?"

"Sure thing," he said, closing the comic and hopping off his bed. He walked to the door and opened it. "Need any help with those?" he asked. "Those all for Uncle Steve?"

"Yes that might be a good idea." he whispered, dumping the heaver tomes into the boy's hands. "Most of these are for you, actually. Your uncle said you'd be interested in them." He held up a book stuck in the middle. "...and also a copy of A Study in Scarlet"

He looked up to the student, wondering just why a fictional book was stuck with all these archeology and history studies.

"Oh, that," Mike said, taking some of the books and setting them on his desk. "I've been trying to read up on Sherlock Holmes, considering I actually met the guy once," he said matter-of-factly as he started taking some books off his shelf to rearrange the books. One book he took out and set on his bed was an old, leather bound book with the words "OXFORD WONDER WORLD" embossed on its cover.

Otacon stared at Mike dumbfounded. Surely he didn't just say... He knew his old teacher's nephew had had strange adventures, but that made no sense whatsoever. Sherlock Holmes was a work of fiction. Then again he was in a school with talking hedgehog. "You've...met him?"

The old book looked rather odd to be found with so many comics, so Otacon curiously picked it up and began looking through the pages. It was in English, but the words seemed odd and unfitting with each other. "What's this book? Did Dr. Jones give it to you as well?"
