"Just a minute!" Green rushed to get his pants on, and opened the door while pulling his arm through his second sleeve. "Hi, sorry."
He still didn't know why he was going out with someone he barely knew, to try to get over someone else he barely knew. Well, too late to turn down now.
Was he not at all ready when she got here? Selene didn't know, but that was the impression she got from him only just getting his shirt completely on him once he opened the door.
She thought nothing of it, though. "I hope you're ready to go," She chuckled softly and waited for him to close the door to his room. "The name of the cafe is the White Tea Palace." Oh god how corny, but she loved the place anyway. Was that because their tea was especially exceptional? Probably.
"Do you know where that is or shall I lead you there~?"
"Oh, that is no trouble~" Selene assured him and began to lead the both of them out of the building. "I do know my way there."
Or at least, she hoped that she remembered. She knew about some of the directions. She KNEW, but well... crap, was it a left turn or a right at that one street, do they go west or east, or FHDHFHF. Such is the problem of being so new to the city.
She tightened her lips together once they got outside and wondering which way they'll need to go. "Ah, let's to the east once we reach town," She might have chuckled a bit nervously as she lead him away from the school and toward the city.
"Do you eat out often?" She curiously piped up. She was beginning to do so as much as her very small amount of cash would allow. She kept in contact with her Mother, who sent her cash every so often to make her living. She never got a whole lot, though, so she only had some free money sometimes. Good thing, too, because if she had enough money to eat out often, Selene would probably balloon up. Curse you, slower metabolism.
He was not convinced by her words. This may end up a longer evening than planned.
"Are you sure yo- Ya know what, nevermind." He muttered, mostly to himself, before following her out the door.
"Often? No, not really. Take out, I guess, but not going out. I get something delivered once a week or so. Can't live on the food on campus for too long at a time, you know?" He grinned, but quickly looked around to make sure nobody that cooked was listening. There were some mean looking cooks on campus.
Selene chuckled awkwardly, although it was actually in agreement. "I am not sure at all if I enjoy the foods provided daily on campus. I am a picky eater, I must admit," She told him. "I do not like to sample on very many treats~ Only certain ones like a few that this cafe would have to offer. I cannot eat much, as well."
Sheeee wouldn't go into detail on that. Telling people how she gets fat if she eats too much is quite an awkward thing to do. SOOO yeah, not going to describe that lalala.
They were just about close to town by now. By the next tag or two In the next minute or two, they should be there, at least.
"Well, I should probably watch how much I eat as well. Gotta keep fit for training, after all!" He laughed along with her. (chuckling is totally laughing.)
It was nice to see the city put back together. He hadn't walked around it much since the war. "Hard to imagine so much of the city was up and running so quickly from where it was."
"Oh yes, I am," Selene replied. "I suppose something had happened here at a time while I was not around?" She had no idea that something as huge as an alien bug war, let alone a war at all, could have happened here.

"I can't say I've ever heard of it," He shrugged, motioning towards the staircase. "I was hoping you'd know where we were going."

Once they reached the city, Selene picked up on Green's comment. However, she didn't exactly know what he meant. "'From where it was'?"
