What: FOOTBALL TRYOUTS
When: Saturday, September 5th, 9 AM.
Where: The football field.
Rating: PG-13. YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT MIGHT HAPPEN.

Of course, here was Nester, your totally-the-opposite-of-a-star-player. Oh boy, Falcon, I am sure you are absolutely thrilled to see him, as must be the other teammates.

"I'm so ready!" A pause. "Oh yeah, introductions! Duh. UH, hey, I'm Nester, the best player on the team! Don't worry about losing because I know we'll win if I'm here!"

He then proceeded to do stretches. Oh Nester.

It was way too early in the morning to be dealing with Nester. Any time of day was too early to be dealing with him, even if he was a teammate and a fellow firecrotch. Char gave Nester a good smack with the side of his tail -- not the tip, of course, because Char was just that thoughtful. "Save it for the field, buttercup."

Selene found the idea of being a cheerleader to be quite the adorable idea. She'd never been to school before in Popples (nor was she even sure that a school existed there, probably not), so she never got to experience typical school activities. Now she finally could!

She showed up and waited for the others to pop in.

Hojita remembered cheerleading vaguely from last year, but since Kiwi was in it she never got to join in. Now was her chance to finally get down and ... pom-pom-y? I guess so.
