My dear cat Zeus recently found himself in quite the pickle. I have seen him time after time playing with my hair bands. I have a habit of taking out my pony tail and setting the band wherever I am...on the nightstand, table, whatever. He loves them. He's constantly playing with them. One day I noticed it disappeared. OMG ZEUS! You have got to be kidding me - that is NUTS! haha. I am SO glad Zeus is okay and lived to tell the tale. Brandon and I were wondering why he was wearing an inflatable donut on his neck. Nifty invention. Those cones SUCK. I don't know any animal that likes the cone.

Zeus is going to have to acquire a taste for something a little less un-digestable.

The doughnut is the best invention EVER! No animal deals with the cone and I swear this has been a life saver for us. They sell them at PetsMart if you ever need one. They're mainly for dogs (I think) but can be used for cats, too. They come in different sizes.

I don't get the desire for something so....un tasty? Maybe my shampoo smells too good.

Oh my god!!!! That's WONDERFUL that he's okay -- thank goodness you caught it on time, and insisted on the x-ray, despite the cost. It might be worth it to get him insurance, for the future, since he's still young? I think pet insurance is pretty affordable -- I'll probably get it when I get my next pet, just because they do things like this.

Hope he continues making lots of progress! Poor kitty!

Glad to hear Zeus is doing good, and they were able to safely get all the hair ties out! I was wondering what "Hailey's Comet" was when you posted it up last week, lol!
