Progress
Over the weekend, I apparently managed to chip my lower right cuspid eating a grilled cheese sandwich. I'll say that again. I managed to damage a tooth eating grilled cheese. The last time I chipped a tooth, it was from swimming tooth-first into the concrete lip of a pool. This time, it was eating goo on toast. How far I have come.

Audiobookery
So, having to spend 3+ hours a day commuting has made audiobooks a more attractive option of late. This is generally good, as it's easier than hunting radio stations, and the local library has an arrangement to get digital audiobooks online in WMA or MP3 ( Read more... ) -

I still hate resumes and cover letters with a passion. They still make me feel both stupid and unqualified for anything and everything, and this feeling is the main reason that I know I could never freelance or otherwise work a job where I had to land new clients on a regular basis ( Read more... ) -
New laptop time
So, my current computer decided to start randomly freezing recently. I've tried playing with the RAM DIMMS, I've tried booting from CD and USB... there's just a point at which it locks up, usually within minutes of completing boot procedures, regardless of OS and the drive it's running from ( Read more... ) -
