Yikes, that scares the CRAP out of me! And I thought winikoff was bad for leaving lights on all over the house all the time.

I actually worry about leaving the gas on but not lit, and coming back to find the whole house gas-filled.

You should just be thankful that you are actually able to smell that awful smell. I have never smelled a thing.

LOL! Talk about freaky. Blew myself up and all, wouldn't want that happening to anyone else. I'm a little paranoid about checking stuff like that before heading out! Have accidentally left stuff boiling before on a warm day and forgotten about it - and then all the windows fog up on the inside and I wonder what's going on before realizing I'm burning a dry pan ready to go kabloom. Gleep.
