The most expensive of my tiny collection of antique Japanese bisques... I payed a "whopping" $35 for her. Interestingly enough, somebody was bidding against me, yet another practically identical doll was on eBay at roughly the same time... and remained unsold w/ a starting bid of $20. Go figure

I know! I wish I had more money, so I could "rescue" more dolls... I saw one not long after I bought 'Stella that looked very similar to her, but w/ a different hairstyle that was painted a "normal" colour rather than silver.

Hehehehe, my childhood self would be equally disgusted. (Which I've heard fairly frequently in dollydom... perhaps we were just waiting for the right odd little dollies?) I keep trying to tell my inner child that they're all just "action figures" but I don't think she believes me...
