I've been in a really, really crap mood, lately. Not 100% sure we're even still going to DragonCon, but I hope we do... it'd be nice to get away for awhile ( Read more... )

Yow! Her gaze does follow the camera!
If you adjusted the eyes so the pupils were nearer the top eyelid would that help?
Then again...having a doll that watches your every move could be rather interesting as well. Especially when guests come over. ;D

I don't think adjusting the eyes would help... but that's okay, because I love creepy dolls! :D

I think our guests either love the dolls, don't care about them regardless of how creepy they get, or are already convinced that they're going to go on a murderous rampage when we least expect it. A simple change of eyes isn't going to change any of that. ;}

My friend's have complained about my dolls looking at them "evilly." I always reasure them that if they were to buy my dolls presents they'd have no reason to fear harm from them. Alas, no one ever buys my dolls presents.

All the stuff your dolls have makes me feel like a bad doll mommy. I can just never find anything I like to buy them new stuff. I don't want to change Arianna's eyes and finding 22mm eyes is kinda tough. I'm such a bad bad neglectful mommy, hence why I can never ever have kids.

Ach! You're not a bad doll mommy! Your kids can go out in public in nice outfits, w/ their own wigs & decent faceups! There are sooooo many other doll owners out there who can't say that much! ;}

Anyway, a lot of my dolls' stuff is here thanks to Ms. Deth. Some of it she made, some of it she ordered, some of it she bought at craft stores and/or attached to ugly porcelain dolls. I'm pretty resourceful when it comes to recycling things from around the house, but our doll wardrobe wouldn't be anywhere near what it is today w/o Ms. Deth.

OTOH, it helps that Fox & Dinah both came w/ their own outfits, shoes, eyes, & wigs, & Fox came w/ an extra wig & shoes. ;}

Not now, no... though that's where Fox used to live for awhile.

Have you seen Dollmaster? Maybe Dinah's just keeping an eye on me so that she can protect me! ;D

She is SO stare-y!!! The "looking up at her" pic is mildly disturbing because of the stare-y factor! ;)
