Well, I'm sure it's only review enough because you knew I was LYING.

I can't believe you post this stuff. I mean, yeah, the plot's decent and the sex is hot and all, but, Emily went out for coffee? In the middle of a case? PLEASE! And why, if this absolutely ridiculous, unbelievable thing that TOTALLLY stretches my willing suspension of disbelief had to happen, WHY was it Emily who went? It couldn't be Reid or Morgan? I mean, God forbid! Of course it had to be the woman who went out for coffee.

That shows she has far less commitment to her job than her male counterparts. PLUS you put her in the subservient role of going out to get them coffee. *rolls eyes* I think you have singlehandedly set feminism back 100 years and you should be completely ashamed.

This is just - sweet, but not saccharine, and lovely and achy and warm. I think you say it yourself best - "time slows and stretches until she feels like she’s underwater" - that's how this fic feels to me. I can just stretch out and luxuriate in it, in the tenderness between the two of them, the way the prickly angles of worry and fear and awkwardness get worn down by the affection and love that passes between the two of them. Even the smut, which is just -hot-, carries this gorgeous sense of caring with it that makes it even better. And I love, in the earlier scene, the way Dave keeps poking at Prentiss - gently, carefully, but poking nonetheless - till she owns up. Because he totally would do exactly that. :D
