Just wanted to let you know how much I liked this. I don't usually read a lot of fic about Christina, as she's not one of my favorite characters (I don't dislike her, I'm just pretty ambivalent about her). But your Christina voice here was perfect. I could really hear those thoughts in Christina's head; how she'd react to something like this. How she'd only have the discussion once with Meredith. How she gets why Alex did what he did, how Lexie's totally not the right person to have around her at that moment. And how, of course - if this did happen, I do think Christina would know she had to leave him right away.

So basically? A perfect Christina. I really liked this!

Cristina's not someone I write a whole lot of, so I'm always a little unsure of whether or not I'm doing her justice. I kind of avert that a little by bouncing her off other characters that I have more experience with.

Wow.

Just wow. I am an Owen- fan, at least the Owen of s5 and not the weird thing that is him now in s6, and I love how you write this, how you deal with an issue that might just become reality * after having read up on PTSD and refreshed my memory from all those neuropsych- classes :P*...

For the sake of my ship *C/O of s5, not s6, I am adamant about this :P*, I hope that he does schedule an appointment, because I cannot bear to see Cristina get hurt again by a man that she is devoted to *thanks to Owen, I am now a Cristina- fan*...

Uhm, I did not want to ramble this much... Just wanted to say that I love this fic, and the friendship and bond that it is showing... I love the Alex of this season, because he has grown so protective of them, and I would love to read about his reaction to the choking, even if it was belated, since he had his hands full with Izzie when it happened... This is a beautiful portrayal of their friendship, and you have the characters spot on...

You know, I'm totally down with s5 Owen. He was an interesting character. A well-written character. I don't know what to do with this Owen at all. So I get EXACTLY what you're saying, believe me.

I love your Cristina and Lexie voices - they're spot on.

Cristina's initial shock and She lives in her head for those five minutes, processing, mapping up the moments leading up to his fist connecting with her face. but then “I’m not going home. I have a job to do. I didn’t steal a surgery out from under Alex for nothing.” -- just perfect - really shows her resilience and determination.

Today, there is this. There is surgery and labs and her hands this close to a human heart. Everything else will have to wait. -- Perfect Cristina again :)

This really hit a chord with me because it is genuinely something I can see happening after last week's episode. I liked how realistically the whole situation was written and that Alex was the one to give Owen what for! Absolutely loved this - I wish I could leave a more deserving comment (I'm blaming the Easter eggs!)

Cristina is very determined -- we've seen this on numerous occasions. She loves her job. At times, her job is everything to her. And I really wanted to convey that.

As an Alex fan -- and knowing his background -- there really was no question in my mind who would be giving him that what for, lol.

Love this fic!!! You have all the characters to down. Unrelated, but WaltzMatilda please finish your Alex reaction to the chocking story. I love your follow up to this story and we need more Alex/Cristina. You are both wonderful writers!
