I liked this very much.

The narrative style was not one that you'd usually expect to see in this type of story, but worked perfectly here. Perhaps just because you wrote it so well.

Various people have already picked out my favourite bits, and written about them far more eloquently than I could. For the record, they were: Owen asking if she thought this would help; and the fact that it didn't.
