Aww, that was really sweet. I love that Lexie, even though she has forgiven her dad and is happy about having her dad back, doesn't forget that her dad hasn't been there for her, but Mark were. And you got the rambling so right :) Typical Lexie style...

That's not really something I think you realistically forget, so much as something that you let slide, at least for a little while. And I'm really glad you thought the rambling was okay -- I was a little worried that I overdid it.

I love the bit about showing up. Hints of old MerDer... You write these two so well.

I wasn't entirely sure I heard correctly at first, but there was no one else around to validate my suspicions... eventually someone at greysanatomy did, but until then I was like OMG OMG WHAT HONEY WHAT.

I wonder how Alex feels about such terms of endearment? :P

LOL. Yeah, I heard from someone after the fact, so it was less OMG for me, but still very surprising.

And at this point, I think she can call him what she wants and he won't care. He's being uncharacteristically nice.

Aww I loved the bit Lexie said about Mark showing up. You get them so in character. And I loved that he turned up in the episode this week, and their smiles, so cute.
