You did a good job with this, especially since you've never shipped them before! The way they interacted was well done. :) I like the idea of Alex escaping Izzie and Seattle for a while with her... because you're right, that relationship is the only one that really hasn't been damaged too badly. I liked that it ended with him missing his flight because despite the "I love you" and the commitment, he's still Alex. His first reaction is going to be to run or to go with what he's comfortable with when things get out of his control (like sleeping with Olivia when he first dated Izzie). This and the Alex/Meredith fic are good examples of that.

Yeah, strange how Alex/Addison is the one that ended up the least screwed up. And yes, he's still Alex, and i hope the show doesn't forget that. He doesn't always do the right thing, in fact most times he doesn't, but we love him and his flaws.

Very interesting take on a possible relationship between Addison and Alex. I really liked how you brought them together... this time it was Alex who needed an escape and ran instead Addison as usual.
