Amazing. I wondered how you were going to work the new canon into a Mer/Alex fic... and WOW. Flawless job. I am going to just keep this in my brain as the off-the-camera-truth in order to get me through the rest of the series.

LOVE LOVE LOVED the Christina!POV on the whole thing. The idea that she knows they are going to mess around, they just better keep it out of the bedroom? SO FRIGGIN AWESOME. It is something I had never seen until this fic, and now I understand exactly what I have been missing out on. Amazing.

In short, great job! *mems*

Yeah, it certainly wasn't easy to work with the new canon -- but it was fun and I like a challenge.

Hee, I love writing Cristina -- it's a real joy, and she had to be in this one way or another.

I'm glad you liked this! Thanks for reading and reviewing!

I've always been really fascinated with the Meredith and Alex relationship, so thank you so much for writing this. It was wonderful, and very poignant.

This was just amazing... I can't describe it any other way than that. There was something beautifully tragic about the whole thing: the simplicity of the games they play. And the whole 'needing to escape' angle of it was perfect, and I just loved how sympathetic it all seemed. The way it was written was just... Oh, so poetic. Such a wonderful display of language and imagery, Gah, so amazing. I am just in love with this. You should be proud!!

Aw thank you! I actually am really proud of this -- considering it almost wasn't posted and I just managed to salvage it yesterday. It was my little plot bunny that could.

To be honest, there is a certain sympathetic angle with these two even on the show, and I love playing at that. They're so similiar and I think a lot of times they just get each other. They really have dropped the ball on these two for the past three seasons (save for last ep) and I wish they hadn't because I think it's such a waste.

I'm glad you liked this! Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Oh, I love your Meredith. I wish we could see more inside Meredith like how your write her. Alex and Meredith have this certain brokenness to them and I like this connection they have that it's not just about sex but about just laying together. People who don't have all their pieces together and can't fit that are just trying to take themselves out of for a while. The moment when Meredith is wearing the dress and Alex says it's not her made my heart ache! D: Lovely characterizations and just... I love this.

And I love writing Meredith -- guess that works out okay, right? I'm not buying this semi-happy, stable, grown up Meredith. I think it's an act, because there is no way that I'm believing that after four seasons of not being able to get her shit together she's just fine, and this piece reflects that I think.

Alex and Meredith seems like something that would be totally about sex right, from just the most base part of their personalities. And then you think about it and there's just so many commonalities, that I think they would just be about so much more.

I'm glad you liked this! Thanks for reading and reviewing!
