I just totally was in the middle of typing a long comment and my computer switched pages! NOO.

This was like 43 kinds of awesome. Because there was the whole hurt/ comfort thing going on, without the super emotional tear scenes. Not that I would have minded crying. I loved when Mark comforted Derek while Meredith was dead- I must have rewatched it like 20 times. And when Alex cried. Mark crying would make my week, if it happened in cannon. But not yet, because Alex just cried. ANYWAYS. Awesomeness, for a real relationship with friendship plus a little more.

AND, because Mark plus anyone equals HOT.

Super super fantastic.

You have no idea how many times that has happened to me; it sucks. Stupid LJ.

I can't really do the super emotional tear scenes (and I love that name, like a lot), especially not with these two. I guess maybe because we've only seen it once with Derek and this is so not the same situation.

Mark/paper bag would be hot. Unfortunately. He just...makes things better.

This was very... sweet. And it's oddly difficult for me, to imagine these two written believably (they're just so damn straight, but then sometimes so gay, lol), especially Mark-Skirt-Chaser-Sloane, but he was completely real here. Well done.

Mark's hard you know because he is the manwhore. He's hard to pin down and then force him to switch teams. But him and Derek have so much history that we know nothing about (plus I'm a little insane so that helps with the writing) and I like playing with that.

Oh, even better than I imagined. (But I always expect to have my expectations surpassed when it's you.) I really liked the whole scenario. Them in the trailer together. A refuge.

But for now, Derek just shakes his head, “No. No I want you here.”

If nothing else, that’s a dose of reality in all this denial.

You must have low expectations (I seriously mean that because this is...not my best. It just is.)

The trailer as a refuge. That's what they played at last episode with Meredith, and I wanted to kind of switch that up. You know me, I'm not a MerDer fan, I will take any and all opportunities to turn that on its head.
