Ooh ooh ooh! I love Meredith and Lexie bonding and this is absolutely PERFECT. Possibly Lexie is the only person who would ever try to make Meredith go swimming and help Meredith out of her fear. I really, really want to see something like this in the coming season with Lexie sort of showing Meredith there's nothing to be afraid of in regards to them being sisters.

You took from this exactly what I meant -- it's kind of a metaphor for there being nothing to be afraid of, both the water and of them being sisters, having family. And then worded it better, lol. I hope we see more of them too.

I'm glad you liked this! Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Really liked this! I love how you nail Lexie's speech patterns and her insistence on being Meredith's sister, despite Mer being so resistent to the notion. Lovely fic. Thanks.

Lexie seems to get something in her mind and run with it and I kind of love that about her.

I'm glad you liked this! Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Man, I would love if this were a scene on the show. I am such a huge fan of the Lexie and Meredith sister dynamic. I liked that you chose to have Meredith experience this moment of "getting back on the horse", so to speak, with Lexie and not Derek. It makes it more significant, in my opinion, because it shows that she really is growing and getting better for herself, not just for the sake of the relationship. Wonderful job, as always.

Everyone does the getting back on the horse moment with her and Derek. I, on the other hand, can't actually stand M/D, and so therefore it's just logic for me to write it between her and Lexie. Life isn't just about romantic relationships, and oftentimes the show loses that. There needs to be more with other characters and other dynamics, and these two specifically.

I'm glad you liked this! Thanks for reading and reviewing!

That's really what the show is missing now that it had in the first season - more friendly interaction, more group stuff. It was always fun to watch Meredith and Derek fall into a relationship and the whole thing with Burke and Cristina escalate, but the thing that I really think drew in most people to the show originally was the dynamic between the interns. I miss that.

I wholeheartedly and enthusiastically agree with you on that.

(She says as she writes shipper-y fic, lol)

I really like this -- I'm one of those who thinks there really ought to be more Grey's gen fic -- and I especially liked this line:

"Lexie’s words come almost as fast as the sound of her shoes against the floor. A rush of air, words running into each other. Sometimes, oftentimes, Lexie reminds Meredith of herself."

Nice work.

I'm one of those who agree -- even if I don't write it as much as I would like.

I'm glad you liked this! Thanks for reading and reviewing!
