Holy flying awesomesauce! This is better than I could have ever expected! Just... ♥! I really love that it fits in with this canon still, the Oceanic six and Sawyer and Claire left behind and all. Having to come back and pretend to be dead, ending up at each other's throats. It all rings very true! I love that it's not a very pretty picture you paint, and it shouldn't be. Gosh. But there's still a kind of need that comes across that is also authentic.

And, um yeah, this was also very very hot. *cough*

I loved that ending! And the beginning, and the middle! You are so my hero!

Hee, I'm glad it beat your expectations :) I think it beat mine a bit too. This was supposed to be something small.

You know me, I tend to try to fit canon in, I just have a problem with going completely AU, it bothers me somehow. And yeah, it ain't a pretty picture, but did we expect puppies and rainbows and happy endings with these three? No, not really.

As for hot, well, I tried, I wasn't sure I did good, but you're very reassuring.

I'm thrilled you liked this! I hope to write more soon. Thanks for reading and reviewing and being such an inspiration!

Aw thank you! That's so lovely to hear from you! This certainly one of the more enjoyable fics that I've written because it's a ship I really love and believe in. I know you aren't a big J/S fan so it's really great to hear that you not only read this but actually liked it :)

Thanks so much for reading and taking the time to review!

I can't even come up with like a coherant sentence to tell you how frakking amazing this was! Seriously every word was just perfect.
Wow! Yes...completely wonderful.

Amazing works. I like that adjective.

Seriously though, I'm thrilled that you liked it! You're one of the people who really writes these three (in various combinations) well so it's nice to hear positive feedback from you. Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Wow... I really don't know what to say. Very beautiful, haunting and unusual piece of writing. Loved every word of it, just perfect. But kind of creepy, ghostly-like, sometimes?

Well done :)

That's kind of the way I meant it. Haunting, to a degree anyway. It's not a creepy story, it's just the way it's told.

I'm glad you liked this! Thanks for reading and reviewing!

I really loved this. I could feel the alienation, the loneliness that Claire and Sawyer live with every day. They didn't choose to be left behind and yet they can't cope with being back in the world, especially now that they're not part of the official truth. They never had much of a chance at normal before the whole Oceanic Six thing, but now that they're not even supposed to exist, now that Aaron isn't even Claire's son, their connection to reality is even more fragile.

It all adds up, their isolation, their fears - especially Sawyer's - and how they both find some comfort in Jack's arms, the most broken of all the Oceanic Six. Maybe they can all be a little less broken when they're together.

That's what I imagine this would be like for them. For anyone off the island that isn't part of the Oceanic Six. You're constantly lying and hiding. You're not supposed to exist, not anymore. And I wanted to play at how these two would deal with that, what that would make them do.

It is quite strange that they find some sort of solace in arguably the most messed up of them all, but just like misery loves company maybe it's that way for people that are broken and tearing at the seams.

I'm glad you liked this! Thanks for reading and for the wonderful review!
