whoa, this is so well written, absolutely gorgeous. we feel Claire's pain at the isolation, how she is visibly out of it. and the boys and how they get together... wow. I LOVED.

No one likes to be isolated. You can like to be alone all you want but isolation is different. You don't have a choice. And that wears on a person and it certainly would wear on them.

This was really beautifully done. I love the job you did with Claire's characterization, because she's so oft-ignored these days.

She is ignored -- which on the show I'm kind of over, since she isn't someone I'm a fan of but I do love to write her -- and so we don't get to see a lot of how she would be in different situations. She's kind of a blank slate in this respect, so I'm glad you thought she was in character and everything.

I like how this is all from Claire's point of view, quite often the threesome is written as third person, and I always like to see into Claire's head for a change... if that makes sense. But this is very believable and wonderfully characterised, very nice!! :)

These things tend to be from Claire's POV for me, sometimes Sawyer's, rarely Jack's (I write this threesome quite often) because for me she is the easiest.

The idea of Claire and Sawyer somehow making it off the island secretly and living in hiding is certainly not something that would otherwise have occurred to me, but it's an interesting idea to play around with. What I think I like best about it is Claire's POV. Her inner voice is really great. It grounds the fic in reality and makes it believable.

I've been thinking about them making it off a lot, mostly because I want something else other than what I got in the finale, so I knew I was going to write it sooner or later.

A lot of people seem to like Claire POV with this. It was literally, for me, just the easiest and most effective way to write this, so I gues going with my gut worked.
