this was a lovely fic! I absolutely loved that it was Juliet who was smarter and backed out of the whole mess with dignity.

great writing!

What can I say, I love Juliet. And I do think she's smarter.

I'm glad you liked this! Thanks for reading!

Oh, Juliet, eventually growing sick of always being the other woman...

...I loved this. I think that, in a way, it's what happened on a smaller scale in 4x10 - with her speech to Kate and the "I know you're awake" to Jack. She loves him, but won't sacrifice her dignity to his mess. Of course, the tiny but stubborn romantic part of my brain wants Jack to eventually come to his senses, fix himself up and come back to Juliet, but, the way things are now... she'd rather be alone.

And of course, great writing and characterization, and I can't really add anything constructive here other than I liked it a lot. Keep it up!

She is, literally and figuratively, the other woman, and it's a title that would wear on anyone. That scene in 4x10 got me thinking a lot about her as a character and her place in this whole triangle mess and this is what came of it, so it does echo that quite a bit.

I'm glad you liked this! Thanks for reading and reviewing!

I'm definitely a Juliet and Jack girl rather than Jack and Kate... if I had a het ship that is :) But I do really like your Juliet characterisation, very nice.

I like both -- Jate's my main ship, but I love Jacket as well -- as well as Jawyer, so I'm multi-dimensional. They're all fun to write. But I'm glad you liked this and found it in-character.

Thanks for reading and reviewing!
