It didn't want to be long. Or smut. It was supposed to be both of those. I apparently can not win, lol.

But I'm glad you liked it anyways. I do actually have real, lengthy A/I in mind, so this wasn't necessarily what I was referring to earlier. It's just a taste.

Aw yay, I've been craving for longer A/I fics. It's been too long since they've been properly portrayed on screen, so I'm resorting to fics to satisfy my hunger for A/I interaction, haha.

That is the question, isn't it? But they're not all different, I don't think. I think Alex uses his "I'm not that guy" spiel to get out of feeling guilty for succumbing to they're worst expectations. I do think he's a good guy deep down, but it's just easier not to be so he doesn't show it anymore.

Well Alex lies to himself, I think, so this is written the way it is for that purpose. But you are right on everything you said.
