i read jack/kate just because you'd written it (that's a big deal lol)

and i liked the insight into their pasts and why jack is umm the way he is

Also reminded me of mer not being allowed to go trick or treating this childhood angst thing don't we love it

Oh you poor thing *huggles* but thanks for reading it! It means a lot that you did!

I wanted to do something with their pasts and I sort of accomplished what I was getting at and sort of didn't but I'm glad you liked it.

And yeah, we must all love the angst.

I thought about going back and changing my prompt to something involving Jack and his dad, so this was a special treat. :)

This is exactly how I'd imagine Jack would approach Halloween (in terms of being a perfectionist), and I (not surprisingly) enjoyed the back story of Jack and the holiday. I also loved the way Kate responded once she'd caught on.

The mental image of Kate trying not to laugh at Jack trying to figure out where to put the pumpkin was pretty darn amusing, too. :)

Well I might take that prompt as well. I'm still working on your first one btw.

That said, I'm glad that you liked the bit of backstory I tried to work in there. I wasn't quite sure where I was going so it was kind of just me typing whatever came to mind. So you can imagine I'm pleased that you like it.

Thanks for reading!

Yeah, I know it's got to be good when Skaters are reading, lol. I think you're one of two who even bothers with my stuff.

I'm glad you thought I captured Kate's approach to the relationship well. Thanks for reading!
