I got a kick out of these e-mail responses to two cases I opened with Microsoft this week.  (I think these support folks are in China.)

I like the new search feature in Office 2007... well mostly.

What really irks me is that the Search feature appears to work only for complete words.  For example, if I'm searching for the word "sunglasses," I must enter the complete word "sunglasses" to find it.  (I can't use a portion of the word, such as "sun" or "glass" or "glasses.")

Today's lesson to all you Windows users:  When you click Start, Shutdown, just let Windows do its thing.  Don't switch the power-off early... even if it's taking a few minutes to shutdown.

I've been using Google's Reader and Google's custom home page (which I highly recommend if anyone is looking for an easy, free, dashboard-style portal to get your own customized RSS headlines.)

I've always wanted an iPod, but:

• I wanted to wait for it to get somewhat cheaper (I've been short on cash for awhile now, and wasn't ready to plunk-down $300 for a player.)
