Its interesting you should post this today as this was a debate I was having with my father last night. I also heard the same thing from an uncle and aunt of mine last week. If you'd talk to them, apparently your feelings against our current administration are based on some type of latent racism since you won't admit it openly ( ... )

It's ok and I wouldn't condemn you for white bedding either. At least you can bleach it :)

I know just how you feel. Unfortunately, we're just gonna have to get used to it -- the accusations are unlikely to stop coming. In fact, at the rate Obama's prestige is wearing off and his policies are proving unpopular, his defenders will probably get more willing to play the race card.

I guess I shouldn't have been surprised that the race card was played. It is easier than to listen to those of us who think there is a better way to help those without health insurance than to penalize those of us who do. We pay a huge premium every month now that my hubby is retired, but I am happy we are able to afford it. I would hate to have the government tax those whose employers provide affordable health for them and for the government to "fix" the best health care system in the world, bar none.

I wonder why they won't listen to the majority's voice in this matter instead of calling names.
