I went to see "The A-Team" on Thursday. Whew. I haven't seen any of the original show, but if it was anything near this ridiculous and awesome, then I will watch it. Those are the key words for this movie: ridiculous and awesome. Which it is more than the other depends on the scene and your opinion of plausible. ( Overkill is underrated. )

Prince of Persia: I liked it. It wasn't a fantastic movie, but it was fun. I enjoyed the fight scenes (well-choreographed) and the chase scenes (numerous) and there were only five shots of Dastan jumping through the air in slow motion. So, I went to the midnight opening of "Iron Man 2" last night. Verdict: awesome, and completely worth how tired I am today. The newest trailer for Avatar played before the movie. It gives me hope!

I went to see "How to Train Your Dragon" again. It remains the best movie I've seen since Sherlock Holmes. If you haven't seen it yet, please go. If the temptation of worth-it 3D and a perfect ending isn't enough, consider that it stars a flying ninja kitty that shoots lasers out of its mouth. Toothless is the cutest thing in existence.

I just got back from seeing "Daybreakers". If you like vampires, go see it right now before it leaves theaters. I waffled about going to see it, because it's vampires and there are other things to do and blah, but really. It's a good vampire movie. I finally went to see James Cameron's "Avatar". Not the actual Avatar movie, since that doesn't come out until summer. Copyright stealer. JC's Avatar is okay. It is very pretty, and only gets prettier as the movie progresses and leaves behind all that pesky reality.
