So another set of bogus college lists came out. I must say, the Princeton Review put together a bunch of Top 20s that rival Spin in the "WTF?" factor. I searched for Wesleyan among all their lists, and here's where we turned up:

Every year Sarah Lawrence ranks #1 as "Town-Gown relations are strained" ...

You mean they DON'T like newly licensed high school juniors speeding through their campus yelling homophobic epithets at them (the practice was known as "dyke bombing")??? Who knew?

But seriously, what is this New College of Florida crap? We are the old college of tree-hugging hippies who love gay people and ignore God. Those lists are bollocks. And I have to register for the site to see the whole list? Double bollocks. My future roommate went to Macalester, which is very high on the gay students accepted list. That's good news.

briefly sticking up for the 'best college theatre' category, because i think there are actually relatively few schools where non-theatre majors get such incredible access to resources and space and get to be self-governing (rah rah second stage whee). and i don't think it's all that unusual at colleges in general for students not to have use of the theatre dept mainstage.
