License Plates and Heartbreaks

I went to my car yesterday, and my driver's sideview mirror was dangling by its wires and the glass was completely gone. Somebody smashed it and kept driving. I totally did the "Good Grief" Peanuts walk. This month, my car was more expensive than Christmas. One of my co-workers said I should have an exorcism for it, since bad things keep happening ( Read more... )

Umm I really like Love Lockdown too. Totally unexpectedly. And even weirder, it somehow reminds me of Nine Inch Nails.

No autotune, but he does use a drum machine on occasion. So the very beginning sounds Nailsy to me. And then where the drums kick in. Maybe he's used a similar beat for something and that's why it reminds me of NIN?

Plus Nails have definitely had some pop-disco-synth moments of late...

i listened to a playlist of 'love lockdown' alternating with patrick's cover for about a week straight in september.
