"So now that you've got me, what are you going to do with me?"

Gah!

Okay, that sounds like a Luke/Reid line (yes, I tend to associate everything with LuRe, leave me alone!) but I actually read it in The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins, which I just finished last night and which I completely loved.

Summary in a nutshell: It's set in the future, which is very controlled, strict and a dictatorship, really, ( Read more... )

And I saw your updated site recently. I definitely need to check out one of your books. I'm looking for good books to read for the summer. :)

I think the best of all my books, for a combination of intense dramatic/emotional story and plot is Seasons of Change, with Waves of Fortune as a runner up as it's a murder mystery.

I also write pure romance, as in Healthy Obsession and its sequel A Risk Worth Taking. (This summer's series is also pure romance, all containing some dramatic twists.)

I hope you enjoy!!!

I've heard great things about this book series. I totally need to read it. :) That's exciting that Elizabeth Banks will be in the movie; she's fantastic. Did you see her in that movie Heights?

I was tired of not knowing what a lot of people were talking about and the story sounded interesting so I had to check it out. I'm hoping to go buy the second book this weekend.

And I think I had that movie on my Netflix list before I canceled it :( I've seem most of her films cause I had them all in my queue at one time. I have only 2 video stores in town and they don't carry too many non-mainstream/independent films but I'll go search for it. If not, I'll wait til I get Netflix back (hopefully soon!)

If you do get a chance to see it, I'd love to hear what you think of it. It's quite a little gem. Netflix is such a great resource for indies.

I think I gave up books when I started reading fan fic. This doesn't count the schoolage books I read with my kids so maybe I do still read. Does Ramona the Pest count?

We are leaving for vacation soon. Maybe I'll go check this one out.

The Ramona books count--a book is a book. :)

Hope you do check it out. And have fun on your trip!
