I've been in Hyde Park past 9pm two days this week, which is unusual for me. Tuesday was library time until late; today was a panel on ACT UP that lasted for almost three hours...which led to me realizing I wasn't going to make it home without starving, which led to diner in Hyde Park with some of my peers.

I'm home on Day 3.5 of the flu. Bona fide influenza virus. Yeeeeeeeeeeeech. My temperature at the doctor's on Monday was 101.6. It's come down now and I'm actually sitting up for reasonable stretches of time. TamiFlu, the antiviral they gave me, makes me vomit (less than pleasant), although I'm told that should be stopping around now. And ( Read more... )

So often when writing I tend to focus/obsess on things like....whether paragraph A should come before or after paragraph B. I can get absurdly caught up in decisions like that, which do in fact matter and need to get made. But still.
