Just a few more days until I find out whether or not I have a residency position in Veterinary Medical Imaging (radiology for all of you who don't know what that means). I find out March 1st. Life still sucks. I want to move back to Raleigh.

So, my job problems just got worse. Dr. Potts is leaving. If I leave too, then the place will close. I need to sit down with someone and discuss my life. I hate my job with a passion, and I feel like I would be much happier elsewhere. I love being a veterinarian, but not here. All of my classmates I've talked to love their newfound lives. Meanwhile I find myself slipping deeper and deeper into depression. And I know its all because of my job ( Read more... )

Just downloaded a bunch of old songs from teenagehood. Funny thing that reminded me of these songs is an ad on TV for "Buzz Ballads". Now I'm sitting here thinking of the past....and how miserable I felt then. But also how hopeful I was of the future. I realize I am better off now in some ways, but still worse off in others.
