Avengers: Age of Ultron

Finally managed to catch Avengers over the weekend. I thought it was pretty fun, and some of the lines or gags were just hilarious. Got quite a few laughs in the audience, on a Sunday night no less!

[Spoilers and show-related thoughts]One of my favourites is at the beginning, when Hawkeye gets shot and Black Widow rushes up to assist. "Will someone take care of that bunker please?"

Turns out Theta Protocol is the helicarrier. A flashback to a year ago has Coulson visiting a secret base to have a look at the repairs being done to the helicarrier. And it occurs to me that he must have initiated this almost immediately after S.H.I.E.L.D. fell, understanding how useful it might be and not allowing anyone else to get their hands on it. It means that when he mentioned Theta Protocol to Koenig before entering the Kree temple, he meant to have the helicarrier on standby in case they needed to evacuate the city. This really nicely ties in with Coulson's vision of a protective S.H.I.E.L.D. to the use of the helicarrier to evacuate the city in Sokovia
