Despite lately eating some delicious take-away, some very rich Thai, Indian and Mongolian food, and being sick, I have managed to keep off the 14kg I lost between August and October, and I still weigh my first goal. Once my health is back on track, I'll step up the effort and ditch the next 9kg to goal #2...and from there, there's only another 10 ( Read more... )

I'm sure you look different though...14 kilos is heaps...you apparently go down a dress size every 6kgs lost?

I thought that too, but I'm still fat-girl sized. *sigh* I was what I reckon to be a size 19 when I started losing weight, and now I'm about a 17, so I still buy size 18 things... It's shitty. LOL

14 kg is great. You will drop dress size eventually, but not dropping just means that you are toning up.
I'ma size 8 and I've put on weight.

Fairdinkum beat me to it. When you reach 20 kg, I'm sure you'll see a huge difference, and will be down another size or two.

Being sick.. anonymous December 8 2005, 01:43:23 UTC
So, has your friendly neighbourhood Quack given you *any* indication as to what your beingsick-ness is??

Fourteen weeks of feeling bad, plus *constant* nose bleeds cannot be good!

Has anyone in the Melbourne medical community got *any* idea?

I hope you're feeling better.

Sadly, no. No indications, no diagnoses, no cures. I've had tests galore but no results til Friday. We know it's not Glandular Fever or any of the associated viruses. There may be more exsanguination to go...

Maybe it's bird flu... I am a chick, after all. *smug face*
