I never noticed any changes in Phil before he passed, so I just assumed it was old age that took him away from me. He never suffered any visible health problems.
Fleas, ick. Aldy has never experienced fleas. I checked her all over after her tumble out the window, but she's clean. She'll be happy to be in AK again. She can roam free in my mother's backyard without having to worry about anything. (We don't have heart worms, ticks, or fleas up there.)

Oh yes. They have 'squitoes up in AK. They're hugs and there are SO MANY of them. Blech! We have to use DEET when we go hiking or biking or anything where we'll be outdoors for more than a few minutes in the summer months.

Naw he's fine.. was watching him the whole time chairs practically one big cushion no hard spots or anything else he could have whacked on if he missed the jump. Just maybe get a 'rug' burn from the chair. Table's probably not even a foot of the floor either. I was just amazed he could leap that far. I would be hesitant to do so in a similar adult sized situation.
oh boy.. tons of squitos they seem to like to eat me.. i'll remember to bring deadly sprays if i ever go visit!
