I actually spent all last night working on Sinners stuff. :-P

It'll be ready before New Year's.

I really don't think you should set up deadlines unless you at least apologize for failing to fulfill them. Yes life gets in the way, life will always get in the way, time stops for no man.
You could at least say "sorry, that deadline was dumb, it will be a lot later".

For example one of my favorite fanfiction authors (Tyler Lovell, aka UsuallyDead) basically said to his fanbase that "the next chapter will be done eventually but don't sit tight because it will take forever".

Wanting to please people is fine, but you're not working for us and don't have to appease us with timeframes.

Not that I owe anyone an apology, but I'm sorry that Sinners is nowhere near the top of my life's priorities right now.

Hey man just a quick question. When the last time you took a break from writing and went on vacation?

But yeah I hope you are doing fine and am personally glad your not letting whiny little pricks ( like this guy) tell you to hurry up. I am a little curious about what you are writing like for your job and what not.
Here's hoping you and your are doing great

Well, I've been taking a break from writing for a long time, but the last time I went on vacation was...years. We're really too poor to take vacations.

I'm actually job-hunting right now because my former job kinda screwed me and a lot of other people by not mentioning that they were damn near going out of business until it actually happened...yeah.

Remember, kids, freelance writing is fun, but don't forget that your contractors have no legal obligation whatsoever to be fair to you!

Damn that sucks! Hope you find something soon. Have you thought about working on contract? Better then nothing (even though I think you'd love that about as much as you love having the plague lol). Good luck in your future endeavors!
