Looks like I'm in the flood-range of Lee...under a tropical storm watch right now (along with like eight other watches including tornado, flash flood and rip tides). Even though it's not hitting Pensacola directly, this stupid slow fucker is still going to give us a few days of heavy rain and some nasty winds. FUN FUN

Absolutely nothing of interest happened.

We got maybe three inches of rain. The winds rarely topped over 30 MPH. One (already dead) tree fell. That's it. There have been worse thunderstorms around here.

Other parts of the county (and other counties/states) got much worse, but I personally got nothing of note.

Yeah, it's been balls-hot here the last two months. Hottest it got was 115F! Now it's finally easing off. Highs around 90 and lows in the 70s at night.

What have you been up to, Slash? That job still going pretty good?

It's getting warmer again here, unfortunately...expected to reach 89 by Monday. We broke into the 50's one night and it was so wonderful that we turned off the A/C and opened all the windows. I want cold dammit.

The job? Well...let me just say that freelancing gets old fast, lol. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. The only reason I stick with it is because I don't want a job that involves directly dealing with people.
