We are so much alike it hurts.

I wear myself out getting everything exactly right before I leave, even if it's just for overnight. Some of that is because our pet sitter often stays over and sleeps in the spare bedroom because she lives at home with her parents still at 26 and her dad won't let her watch anything unless it's religious programming, so I usually get a PG-13 Netflix for her and leave the Pirate and LOTR videos out where she can find them. She also sells vacuum cleaners on the side, and since I was one of her very first customers, I feel compelled to make sure she knows I'm using my new machine regularly.

I should just leave it dirty and see if she'll check it out for me to make sure it's working properly, huh. *that was a statement, not a question.*

I always say it takes me foreever because I'm packing for me and YD and LP and Puck and Haldir and Michael and Andy. If only they could do more than lay all over the floor in my way and trip me up!

I *like* to leave the surfaces squared away (not *right* but tidy enough) and dust cloths (old sheets) over, because when i come home i'm exhausted and going right straight back to night shift and won't get to anything for weeks. also, i hate to lose stuff when i pack.

but i *can* [and am, this time] leaving it more in the *heaps* state and not *squared away*, but 've slept, 've packed everything I can think of needing, and i've got money/papers. so. it's all good.

guilt- i gots to let go of that.
