THE BIG TRIP!!!

OMYGOD.

my son will be here in an hour to pick me up, and i will officially be ON MY WAY.

tonight will spend the night at his place in san francisco, and tomorrow go to Annie Lebowitz exhibition, and maybe to see the Harvey Milk bust at San Francisco City Hall [i got to see the three finalists a year and some ago, so this is exciting

thanks. i will do- in some ways, i already feel full! the Annie Lebowitz show- remind me, sometime, to tell you about it. she commented about Richard Avedon that he was a good conversationalist- could bring his subjects out, engage them- but that she cannot do that because she is always 'too busy looking to converse." and about Susan Sontag that "she always wanted you to stand just wheer she'd stood- not an inch to the left or right, but exactly- so you could see just what she'd seen."
