I have to admit, when I started reading, I wondered how anyone could possibly manage this couple without turning it into a farce. It's obvious that a lot of care went into working out their dynamic, and putting these two together in a way that worked, without changing their essential nature. It is a wonderful story.

This is gorgeous. It's sad, but at the same time, oddly sweet. I love your take on what Shunsui would be like after Jyuushirou's death, and I love Byakuya's emotional progression.

I love Shunsui so it was incredibly hard and yet delightful to write him here. Poor, Byakuya, so deep in denial about everything. He was very interesting character to write.

I adore Ukitake/Shunsui, it's one of my very favorite Bleach pairings. I love Byakuya/Renji as well and have a really deep respect for any cannon pairings.

Shunsui/Byakuya seems at first like it wouldn't work, and yet as I was writing it, it all just seemed to come together.
